I cannot decide on paradise.
I cannot decide where to go for a holiday in December..
Krabi, Thailand
Pros: Cheap (S$700), good rock climbing, good food, great beaches, awesome massages.
Cons: Eugene and Chris not going, peak season, went there twice this year (Yaaaawn)!
or
Maui, Hawaii
Pros: See mom (meet her bf), good scuba diving, it's whale season, i like faraway destinations, it's HAWAII for fuck sake!
Cons: Expensive (S$2,600 - GAH!).

Fleeting thought i shared with Chris & Peijun
I will not hesitate to put a bullet in the head of another person belonging to another army whose country wants to take over ours.

A night out with Chris & Peijun
After rock climbing today, the 3 of us headed to Fish & Co at Novena Square for dinner, then over to United Square's Brahaus for beer.
We stopped over at Toys R Us to look for my new freesbie but ended up doing other stuff..
The things i do for friendship..
I wagered that fat Chris couldn't squeeze into the car.
I won..
It was a great day :)

Happy to be alcoholic.
If every beer promoter at the coffeeshop/pub/restaurant were to look like this.. i would be more than happy to be a full fledged alcoholic.
Heh heh.. anyway, i had drinks with Manchi last night and i have a scandalous secret to share with everyone.. SHE DID NOT BRUSH HER TEETH AFTER DRINKING BEER!! Yuck.
Post script: Some people (big testicle chris) have highlighted that i am already an alcoholic. I just wish to clarify that the only difference between being a normal alcoholic and a FULL FLEDGED alcoholic is that under 'religion' in any official document, i would classify myself as 'alcoholic'. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW CHRIS!!?

Busybusybusy!
It's been a hectic 2 weeks.. working non-stop without any rest for 2 international events which are back to back - FINA Marathon Swimming World Cup and the FINA World Swimming Officials Conference.
The 2 weeks reminded me so much of national service. I even had to spend a few days at the hotel where the international swimmers were staying. The following picture was taken on one of those extremely hazy days. Guess it pretty much summed up my mood.
On the last day of the World Conference, there was a dinner for the delegates. And we deduced that the vietnamese were basically here for a holiday. Half of them did not turn up for the second day of the conference but so much (plus a few extras) turned up for the dinner! This happy charlie was going around screaming 'VIETNAM NUMBER ONNNNNNNE!'
